Republic Pictures released Alias Billy The Kid in April, 1946. Sunset Carson starred with Peggy Stewart, Tom London, Roy Barcroft and many others as supporting cast members. Almost four years later, Universal/International released The Kid From Texas as a vehicle for Audie Murphy also based on the Billy The Kid legend. Gale Storm, Albert Dekker, Will Geer and a fine supporting cast help Audie tell a story of The Kid. The WFPS will feature these two fine B-Westerns during the March 20th meeting.

Also this month: Chapters 10 and 11 of Republic’s Son of Zorro starring George Turner, Peggy Stewart, Roy Barcroft and Edward Cassidy.

See you there!

It’s March. . .
