Please remember and plan to attend the Milo Holt Western Film Festival in Siler City on Saturday May 19 from 10am until 6pm. It will be a fun day of food, arts and crafts, displays, western action and of course, MOVIES!

The Old Cowpoke just corralled the full lineup for May 17:
As announced in the May 1 post, our A-Western will be “The Silver Whip.” Also for your viewing pleasure, Chapter 11 of the 1943 Republic serial “Daredevils Of The West” with Allan Lane and Kay Aldridge.
Rounding out the evening program of wonderful Western Films will be “Powdersmoke Range” starring Harry Carey, Hoot Gibson, Guinn ‘Big Boy’ Williams, Bob Steele and Tom Tyler.
William Colt MacDonald penned the novel on which this film is based and it introduced The Three Mesquiteers.
Adele Buffington wrote the movie’s screenplay and Wallace Fox directed.
