In Zane Grey’s Nevada (RKO, 1944) Robert Mitchum plays an honest cowpoke combating a bunch of no-goods aiming to take over some mining claims. Nevada also stars Anne Jeffreys, Guinn “Big Boy” Williams, Nancy Gates and Richard Martin. Edward Kelly directed.

The second feature will be The Desperadoes starring North Carolina’s own Randolph Scott, Glenn Ford and Claire Trevor. Columbia released The Desperadoes in May, 1943. Charles Vidor directed.

And, of course, we will view Chapters 6 and 7 of Son of Zorro, the Republic Serial for the 2013-14 season.

Hope to see you there!
