This month we have two biggies from the B-Western Era: Hopalong Cassidy and Wild Bill Elliott.

Feature #1: Clarence E. Mulford’s “Hopalong Cassidy Returns” starring William Boyd, George Hayes, Gail Seridan and Evelyn Brent. Paramount released this movie in 1936. Nate Watt directed.

Feature #2: “The Son of Davy Crockett” starring Bill Elliott, Iris Meredith, Dub Taylor and Kenneth MacDonald. This film was released by Columbia in 1941 and directed by Lambert Hillyer.

Also this month, we’ll be viewing Chapters 7 and 8 of the Republic Serial “Son of Zorro” starring George Turner, Peggy Stewart and Roy Barcroft among many others.
