Our second feature is “Stone of Silver Creek” (Universal, 1935) Starring the inimitable Buck Jones along with Noel Francis, Niles Welch and Murdock McQuarrie. Directed by Nick Grinde.

And last, but not least, we’ll view Chapter 3 of our serial “Batman” (Columbia, 1943) Starring Lewis Wilson, Douglas Croft, J. Carrol Naish and Shirley Patterson. Directed by Lambert Hillyer.

This month we celebrate our No-Nonsense Cowboy, Tim Holt. Join us at 6:45 PM on Thursday, March 15, 2018.

Lobby Poster for Western Heritage

Our first feature will be Western Heritage (RKO, 1948) Starring Tim Holt, Nan Leslie, Richard Martin and Tony Barrett and directed by Wallace Grissell. The working title for this film was “Under Arizona Skies” and some scenes were filmed on location in Lone Pine, CA.

Our second feature will be Brand of Fear (Monogram, 1949) Starring Jimmy Wakely, Dub Taylor, Gail Davis and Tom London. Oliver Drake directed this film.

Finally, we’ll watch Episode 2: “The Bat’s Cave”  from our new serial Batman (Columbia, 1943) Starring Lewis Wilson, Douglas Croft, J. Carrol Naish and Shirley Patterson. Directed by Lambert Hillyer.
